"My mother once told me that when she brought me to the beach for the first time, I eagerly plunged into the sand and started licking it up, relishing its flavor like an ice cream cone. Despite the passage of time, my passion for all things beach remains unwaivered. SURFJOY is a love letter to my inner child and the joy experienced on that inaugural beach trip. I currently reside in Hawaii where I draw my inspiration for my whimsical and funky designs from the surfing and beach going here- though I tend to eat less sand these days! I design everything myself by hand and tend to explore an endless variety of mediums. My intention for SURFJOY is to design stylish and fun apparel for the souls who can't help but smile when they catch surf; the gracious soul who is playful and fun to be around in the water. For the surfer who knows and embodies ALOHA, and a pure love of life. I sincerely hope that my work brings you joy."
